Delivery apps take 15 to 30% per order. Order direct with 0% commission.
Keep the delivery app for what it is good at: putting you in front of someone who has never heard of you. Then give the diner who already knows your name somewhere else to go: your own menu, at your own link, where the order costs you nothing and the customer is yours. Free to start, and 0% per order on every plan.

The second order is the one worth keeping
0% commission, every order, every plan
Including Free. The money moves between you and whoever you take payment with, and gateway fees go straight to the gateway.
Keep the app for discovery
A marketplace is how a stranger finds you, and that is worth paying for. What is not worth paying for is the regular who already knows your name paying you 15 to 30% less than they used to.
Your own link
ala.menu/yourname, or your own domain on Pro. Your colours, your logo, your photos, your counter prices instead of delivery pricing.
Take the order however the diner likes
A proper checkout on your own page with delivery zones and an order dashboard, or a WhatsApp message with the items already written out. Most restaurants run both and let the diner pick.
The customer comes with the order
Name, phone, what they ordered, what they spent, when they last came. On a marketplace all of that stays in the marketplace.
Nothing to install, for anyone
The diner opens a link. You open a dashboard. Nobody downloads an app for one restaurant.
Live in three steps
1. Send the menu you have
A PDF, a photo of the printed menu, or a description. The AI builder does the typing, free, with no quota.
2. Turn on ordering
A checkout on your own page with delivery zones, or WhatsApp, or both. Cash, a manual transfer with the Whish, OMT, MoMo or bank presets, or a card where a gateway is wired for your market.
3. Put your link everywhere the app is not
The QR on the table, the link in your bio, the sticker on the bag that went out through the app. That is how the second order comes direct.
What is commission actually costing you?
Put in your own numbers. This is the cut a delivery app takes before you pay for food, staff, or rent.
Lost per month
$1,620
Lost per year
$19,440
An estimate from the numbers you entered. Commission on ala.menu is 0% on every plan, including Free.
A delivery app keeps your customer. Here the customer is yours.
On an aggregator the guest belongs to the app. The number, the name and the order history sit in their account, and reaching that same guest again means paying for them again. On a menu you own, all of it stays with you.
Customers
Every order writes a customer row: name, phone, how many orders, what they spent, when they last ordered. Open one and the full order history is there, with a phone number you can actually call. On Plus.
CSV export
Export the whole list, or only the customers who agreed to hear from you, with orders, spend, and first and last order dates. It is your list, in a file, whenever you want it. On Pro.
Promo codes
Bring a guest back with a code you set yourself: a percentage, a fixed amount, or free delivery. It can apply on its own, be limited to a first order, or be usable once per phone number. On Plus.
Reviews
The rating and the written feedback come to you. You choose the mode: collect privately, send diners to your Google listing, or do both. On Plus.
Loyalty
A punch card that rewards every few orders, or a reward at a spend milestone, with the card saved in Apple and Google Wallet. Website orders stamp themselves; walk-ins and WhatsApp orders you stamp. On Pro.
Analytics
Menu views, unique visitors, the most tapped item, orders, the view-to-order rate, and the funnel from a view to a placed order. On Plus.

Ordering direct, answered
How much do delivery apps actually take?
It depends on the market and the contract, and most platforms do not publish a rate card. Reported ranges for this region sit at 15 to 30% of order value; the one figure from a named industry body is the Iraqi Restaurants Association putting platform commissions at up to 27%. Your own statement is the number that matters. The calculator on this page runs it against your own volume.
Should I leave the delivery apps?
No, and we would not advise it. A marketplace is how someone who has never heard of you finds you, and that is a real service worth paying for. The waste is the regular: the person who already knows your name, already knows what they want, and is still routed through a 15 to 30% toll. Move that order, keep the rest.
Is 0% commission real, or is it a launch offer?
Real, and structural. Payment runs on your own gateway credentials or in cash, so the gateway charges you its fee directly and we never sit in the middle of an order. Free is a plan, not a trial.
How do diners pay me?
Cash on delivery, a manual transfer with the Whish, OMT, MoMo, bank or other presets where the diner sends and you confirm, or a card through a gateway wired for your market. In Lebanon that means Whish Pay or CyberSource with the NetCommerce acquirer. In Syria, Iraq and Ghana there is no card gateway yet, and cash and transfer carry the load.
What about WhatsApp orders?
WhatsApp is one of the methods, not the headline. The diner taps your menu, builds an order, and it lands in your chat with the items and quantities written out. It is free, it is on every plan, and it is often the fastest thing to switch on. A proper checkout on your own page, with delivery zones and an order dashboard, is on Plus.
Will the delivery app mind?
Your own menu is your own menu, the same way a printed menu on the table is. Nothing here interferes with a listing you keep running, and most restaurants run both for a long time.
What does it cost?
The menu, the templates, your Page and WhatsApp ordering are free, with no card and no trial period. Website ordering with delivery zones and an order dashboard is Plus; a custom domain, branches and loyalty are Pro. Paid plans are priced by region, so the current figure for you is on the pricing page.
