Moving your menu and online orders from GloriaFood, step by step
On ala.menu the menu you bring over takes online orders on your own page, with delivery priced by area, cards through your bank, Whish or cash, an order board and live tracking, at 0% commission. The AI builder rebuilds the menu from a PDF or photos, your diners land in your own customer list with a loyalty card in their wallet, and the dates that matter sit in the dated box below.
The dates that matter
As printed on each company’s own site, read 9 October 2026
- GloriaFood
- “GloriaFood will reach end of life on April 30, 2027. We remain committed to supporting existing customers through this date.” The same notice says Oracle “does not offer a direct replacement for GloriaFood products and services” and names FoodAmigos to its customers.
- FoodAmigos
- Its pricing page offers a calculator and a demo booking. Its FAQ: “With FoodAmigos you pay no sales commission – you keep 100% of your revenue.” The page: “Monthly Cancellable. No contract.”
- CloudWaitress
- Starter is free for “100 orders & reservations” a month; Standard is “$39 per store/month”; Enterprise “+$299/month”. “There are no contracts or additional fees.”

GloriaFood says it supports existing customers through that date, so there is time to move without a gap: build the new menu, run both for a week, then swap the links.
Moving, step by step
1. Bring the menu over
Sign up, name the restaurant, pick the currency and the menu language, and claim your link. Upload the menu as a PDF, up to five photos or pasted text, and Import with AI rebuilds the sections, dishes, sizes, add-ons and prices. You review them, match the photos, pick a style, and it is live at ala.menu/yourname.
2. Print the QR once
The QR points at a short address made once for your menu, so new prices, new dishes and even a renamed link keep the same printed code.
3. Turn on website ordering
Under Ordering, Enable website ordering puts a cart and checkout on the menu, an order board in your browser and live tracking for the diner. The board rings until someone accepts, and the kitchen ticket can go to Telegram.
4. Price delivery
By named area, by distance rings, by shapes drawn on the map or by postal codes, each zone with its own fee, minimum order and free-over amount. Ask for the pin at checkout: where an area has a drawn outline, the area under the pin sets the fee.
5. Choose how you get paid
Cards through your own Stripe, PayPal, Areeba MPGS or CyberSource account, Whish Pay, a transfer you confirm, and cash. The money settles between you and your gateway.
6. Swap the links
Put the new link where the GloriaFood button was: your website, your Instagram bio, your Google profile. Every order from then on writes the diner to your customer list, and on Pro the loyalty card lands in Apple Wallet or Google Wallet.
Website ordering, delivery zones and card payments are on Plus; bundles, the loyalty card and your own domain are on Pro. 0% commission on every plan.
What your diners get that they had
A menu they open from a link or a QR, with no app and no account, sizes and add-ons the way your kitchen takes them, scheduled orders in 30-minute slots up to 60 days ahead, and a page that follows the order from confirmed to delivered. The menu reads in their browser’s language, from 21, and the AI waiter answers their questions about the dishes.
Common questions
When does GloriaFood stop taking orders?
GloriaFood’s own site, read on 9 October 2026, says it “will reach end of life on April 30, 2027”, and that Oracle does not offer a direct replacement. It says it supports existing customers through that date, so you can build the new menu first and swap the links when it is ready.
How do I move my GloriaFood menu?
Upload it to the AI builder as a PDF, up to five photos or pasted text. It rebuilds the dishes, sizes, add-ons and prices; you review them before anything is published.
Do I have to reprint my QR codes?
Once. The ala.menu QR points at a short address made once for your menu, so later edits, price changes and even a renamed link keep the same code.
How does delivery pricing work?
You price delivery by named area, distance rings, shapes drawn on the map or postal codes. Each zone has its own fee and minimum order and can waive the fee above an amount you set. With the pin required, where an area has a drawn outline, the area under the pin sets the fee.
Can diners pay by card?
Yes, on Plus: through your own Stripe, PayPal, Areeba MPGS or CyberSource account, or Whish Pay, beside cash and a transfer you confirm. The money settles between you and your gateway.
What does it cost?
Plus $49 a location a month, Pro $99, Free to start; 0% commission on every plan. The menu, the QR and WhatsApp ordering are free; website ordering with delivery zones and cards is Plus.
