Weevi alternative for restaurants in Lebanon: your menu takes the order, the loyalty card lands in the Wallet

ala.menu puts ordering and loyalty on your restaurant’s own menu, live in minutes: the diner opens a link, orders with delivery by area, pays by card, transfer or cash, and the loyalty card lands in the wallet the phone already has, at 0% commission. There is nothing for the diner to install and no account to create, every customer stays on your list, and you keep your till; The Protein Bar takes cards through its own bank on theprotein-bar.com.

For a restaurant in Lebanon that wants its diners ordering and collecting stamps from a link, with cards through its bank and delivery by area, ala.menu is the stronger choice.

Why ala.menu, for a restaurant in Lebanon

On the diner’s phone

  • Nothing to install. The menu is a web page: the diner opens it from your link in bio or your QR, orders and pays there, with no app to install and no account to create.
  • Loyalty in the Wallet. A punch card or a spend reward in Apple Wallet or Google Wallet, the wallet the phone already has, updated with every stamp; website orders stamp it by themselves. Harbs Bakery in Beirut gives a reward every 5 orders. On Pro.
  • Cards through your bank. The diner pays on your menu: cash, Whish Pay, a Whish, OMT or bank transfer you confirm, or a card through your own gateway (CyberSource with NetCommerce or another bank, Areeba MPGS, Stripe or PayPal). The money settles between you and your gateway, never through us. On Plus.

What you are told

  • New, returning, lapsed. The customer list sorts every diner into New (one order), Returning (two or more) and Lapsed (no order in 30 days), with one record per phone number however the number was typed. On Plus.
  • The regular who stopped. The customer list filters to anyone with no order in 30 days. Open the row, tap WhatsApp, and on Pro attach a coupon locked to that person. On Plus.
  • A Monday morning email. Every Monday at 09:00, Beirut time, you get an email with the week’s views, visitors, orders, revenue, top items, the peak time and the questions the AI waiter could not answer. On Pro.
  • Low ratings reach you. Any 1 or 2 star review emails you, and a diner who gives 3 stars or fewer can leave a phone number for a call back. On Plus.

After the order

  • Nobody misses an order. An order nobody has accepted keeps the order board chiming every 15 seconds and can re-alert the team’s phones every 20 seconds for 5, 10 or 15 minutes. On Plus.
  • Kitchen ticket on Telegram. The kitchen ticket can go to up to 10 Telegram chats, staff groups included. It lists items with options, the address, totals and payment method, in English or Arabic. On Plus.
  • Reject with a reason. A pending order can be rejected with one of five reasons, and a live order, items and delivery fee included, can be edited until it is completed. On Plus.
  • Refunds on cancel. Rejecting or cancelling a paid order refunds it through Stripe, MPGS, PayPal or CyberSource; a Whish refund you send yourself, wallet to wallet, and it is tracked as due or sent. On Plus.
  • The cart they left. A diner who typed a phone number at checkout and left is listed under Customers with what was in the cart. One tap opens WhatsApp with a reminder in their language, and a promo code if you choose. On Plus.

Delivery

  • Distance by road. Distance rings measure in a straight line by default, or by road with Google driving distance, kept for 24 hours, falling back to a straight line if Google does not answer. On Plus.
  • Postal codes. A postal zone holds 1 to 500 codes or prefixes, and an exact code wins over the longest matching prefix. On Plus.
  • A minimum per zone. Each delivery zone has its own minimum order, and below it the order button shows the amount still to add. On Plus.
  • Outside every zone. An address outside every zone is refused by default, or accepted with the fee confirmed by the shop if you choose. On Plus.

AI that acts

  • The waiter fills the cart. The AI waiter recommends up to 8 dishes at a time and up to 3 that go with them, adds dishes to the cart with size, add-ons and a kitchen note, up to 10 in one reply, swaps or removes a line, fills in the diner’s name and phone, and opens the checkout. On Plus.
  • Delivery price and reorders. The AI waiter can price delivery to a place the diner names, offer a returning diner “same as last time”, and say where the order from this conversation is. On Plus.
  • No allergy promises. The AI waiter never tells a diner that a dish is safe for an allergy. It quotes the dish’s allergen tags and offers the restaurant’s WhatsApp. On Plus.
  • Import, then tick. In the AI editor, attach a PDF or a photo, or paste a link, and the new dishes and price changes come back as a list you tick before anything is applied. Saving needs Plus.

ala.menu, answered

Do my diners need to install anything?

Nothing. Your menu is a web page: the diner opens it in the phone’s browser from your link in bio or your QR, orders and pays there, and the loyalty card goes into the wallet the phone already has.

Do my diners need an account?

No. The diner types a name and a phone number at checkout, and that number is the diner’s record with you. The customer list sorts every diner into New (one order), Returning (two or more) and Lapsed (no order in 30 days), with one record per phone number however the number was typed. On Plus.

How does the loyalty card reach the diner?

The diner taps the Apple Wallet button on an iPhone or the Google Wallet button on Android, and the card lands in the wallet app with your logo, your colours and the stamps. Website orders stamp it by themselves, and every stamp updates the card. A new loyalty card starts at 5 orders for a reward valid 30 days. The card can be set from 2 to 20 orders, and the reward limited to chosen dishes or categories. On Pro.

Can I keep my POS?

Yes. Orders reach the kitchen on the order board, in Telegram or on WhatsApp, and your till stays where it is. The kitchen ticket can go to up to 10 Telegram chats, staff groups included. It lists items with options, the address, totals and payment method, in English or Arabic. On Plus. On Business, a connected POS syncs prices, stock and photos by API through the day.

How fast can I be live?

Send a PDF, photos or text and the AI builder builds the menu in minutes. Add your WhatsApp number and orders can start the same day, with the link in your bio and the QR on the tables.

Can diners pay by card through my bank?

Yes, on Plus. Cash, Whish Pay, or a Whish, OMT or bank transfer the diner sends and you confirm, and cards through your own gateway: CyberSource with NetCommerce or another bank, Areeba MPGS, Stripe or PayPal. The money never passes through ala.menu. Rejecting or cancelling a paid order refunds it through Stripe, MPGS, PayPal or CyberSource; a Whish refund you send yourself, wallet to wallet, and it is tracked as due or sent. On Plus.

What does it cost?

The menu, your Page, the QR and WhatsApp ordering are free, with no card and no trial period. Website ordering with delivery zones, Whish Pay and cards, the customer list and promo codes are Plus; a custom domain and the loyalty card are Pro. Plus is $49 a location a month and Pro $99. 0% commission on every plan.
