QR code menu for restaurants that never changes
Print the code once. It keeps working when you change a price, rename the menu, swap the template, or rename the restaurant, because the code points at a short address that is allocated once and never reissued. The menu and the QR are free, with no card.

Why this code outlives the menu
One code, allocated once
Your QR encodes ala.menu/q/yourcode. That code is handed out in a single transaction, never recycled and never deleted. Changing every price does not touch it.
Rename the menu, keep the code
If you change your link, the short code is repointed at the new one. The stickers on the tables keep resolving. A scan of a code that no longer has a menu lands on our homepage rather than a 404.
Free, and it stays free
The menu, the templates and a working QR code are on the free plan with no card. Nothing expires.
The designer, on Plus
Colours, your logo in the middle, 4 dot patterns, 5 corner styles, 8 frames with 8 fonts, and 10 ready palettes. A Free menu keeps the plain black-and-white code it starts with.
Print formats that survive a printer
Download at print resolution for table tents, stickers and window decals.
You see what it does
Menu views, unique visitors and the most tapped item, so a table tent is a thing you can measure rather than a thing you hope about.
Live in three steps
1. Build the menu
Send a PDF, a photo of the printed card, or a description. The AI builder does the typing.
2. Download the QR
It already works. Style it on Plus if you want your colours and logo on it.
3. Put it on the tables
And the window, and the bag. Then forget about it. The menu behind it can change forever.
A QR generator, and a QR menu
| Free QR generator | ala.menu | |
|---|---|---|
| What it points at | Whatever URL you pasted | A short address we keep pointed at your live menu |
| Changing the menu | New URL, new code, reprint | Nothing to do, same code |
| Renaming your link | Every printed code is dead | Repointed, every printed code still works |
| If the link ever breaks | A 404 on a table tent | It lands on our homepage, not an error |
| What you learn | Nothing | Scans, views, unique visitors, the most tapped item |
| Cost | Free, then a subscription to keep it alive | Free, and the code does not expire |
QR menus, answered
Will I have to reprint when I change my prices?
No. The printed code points at a short address, not at your menu content, so editing prices, items, photos or the whole template leaves it untouched.
What if I rename my menu link?
The short code gets repointed at the new link, so the printed codes keep resolving. One thing to know: the old link itself is released, so anyone who bookmarked ala.menu/old-name will not land on you. The QR is the durable address; the link is not.
Do diners need an app to scan it?
No. Every phone camera made in the last several years scans a QR code from the camera app, and the menu opens in the browser. Nothing to install and no account.
Can I put my logo and colours on the code?
On Plus. The designer gives you colours, a logo in the middle, 4 dot patterns, 5 corner styles, 8 frames with 8 fonts, and 10 ready-made palettes. On Free the code is plain black on white. It works perfectly, it just is not styled.
Is the QR code free?
Yes. A working, downloadable QR code comes with the free menu, with no card and no expiry. Styling it is the part that needs Plus.
Can one code serve several branches?
Each branch is its own menu with its own code, so the table tent in one branch opens that branch’s menu and hours. They all sit under one brand in one dashboard.
